2. What are the legal grounds for using your data?

According to privacy laws we have to say what 'legal grounds' we have for using your data. We need your data in order to fulfil contractual agreements between you and Fraenck, such as your purchase of one of our products and your right to a guarantee.

We may also use your data for 'legitimate interests'. This means that we want to give all our clients the best possible personalised service. In doing so, we always consider your privacy.

We may also have a legal obligation to use your data, for example if we suspect fraud. And sometimes you have given us permission to use your data, such as when you sign up for the newsletter. We keep a careful record of this.

3. What personal data does Fraenck process exactly and for what reason(s)?

Fraenck can process your personal data because you make use of Fraenck's services, and/or because you provide this information yourself when filling in a contact form on the website. We store your data in a secure database. And they stay there. We will not pass on your information to third parties for commercial purposes. We also need your details to ensure that your purchases run as smoothly as possible.

Fraenck would like to know the following about you;

First and last name.

So that we know how to address you, which is very handy!

Address details

Because we and our delivery partners would like to deliver your ordered items to the right place.

Phone number

We like to contact you about your order. If anything is unclear, we know how to reach you. Sometimes we will call you afterwards to ask if everything is to your satisfaction.

Email address

You will receive an e-mail about your order, invoice and the products you buy from us. We will mail you our reaction when you have let us know your opinion. Offers and newsletters are also sent to you by e-mail. If you have given us permission to do so. Would you prefer not to receive any more newsletters and offers? Unsubscribing is easy: you can do it on your account page, via contact@fraenck.com or via the link at the bottom of the newsletter itself.

IP address

In our shop we recognise you immediately, on the internet we look at your IP-address. We remember your preferences and thus provide appropriate advice. By remembering your IP-address, we immediately make sure that nobody else uses your personal account.

Payment details

To be able to pay for your order, we use the secure payment environment of Shopify/ Mollie. When you pay with iDeal or bank transfer, your details are stored in our administration in order to link the payment to your order. Furthermore, we will only use your bank account number if you receive a refund from us.

When you pay by credit card, we send your credit card information from our secure environment directly to Shopify/Mollie. They carry out our credit card payments. We will not see your credit card details, Mollie will only tell us if your payment was successful. Or not.

The same goes for Paypal, Bancontact or other payment services. To use these services, you first have to agree to their own terms of use, which you can often find at the bottom of their website.
